Disneyland Resort President lead off the ceremony:
Well good evening everyone, we are absolutely delightedthat you joined us this evening as we welcome the holiday season here at the Disneyland Resort. You know each year we eagerly anticipate celebrating the season with our guests. This year with the expanded Disneyland Resort we have more holiday magic to share than ever before. You know really it is from the breathtaking snowfall of Believe in Holiday Magic at Disneyland to the screams of delight at Haunted Mansion Holiday. It is from the sparkling excitement from Downtown Disney to the beauty and comfort of our resort hotels. Everywhere you turn there are those favorite holiday traditinons as well as many surprises. So I can say that this year the resort is truly decked out for the holiday season.
Well this evening we're very proud to introduce a brand new holiday experience right here at Disney's California Adventure with Disney's LuminAria.

Unlike any show that ever presented before LuminAria is a spectacular celebration of glittering lights, colorful images, and our favorite holiday music and that will allow our guests to share their holiday dreams and unite their wishes with the world. So throughout thise season our guests visiting our new park are invited to be a part of the show by adding their own special touch of holiday magic, a special card that they will personally create. And with different artwork the show is different every single night. Well tonight we are especially proud to share this evening and this moment with some very special guests. Joining us tonight are military officers, family members and friends of American servicemen and women who are miles away courageously giving themselves to achieve freedom throughout the world. And I'd like to thank you all for being with us this evening.
The military officers received a huge applause and a standing ovation

Well ladies and gentlemen and everyone this evening is dedicated to all of you.
Disney's LuminAria creates the harmony of magic that all the holidays bring. And that is something that we all are treasuring even more than ever before right now. And to help us celebrate this all new holiday experience we're extremely honored to have a man who personfies the heart andheritage of Disney as he brilliantly continues his inspired legacy of his uncle and his father. His presence here tonight and his collection of treasured memories he so generously shares is certainly <his> holiday gift to us. Please help me in welcoming our very dear friend and the vice chairman of the board for the Walt Disney Company, Roy E Disney.
