The El Capitan Theatre Hosts “Snow White” Friends and Family Event in Lieu of Typical Red Carpet Premiere

Controversy surrounding the film prompted a different approach to today’s event, which was attended by stars Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot.

The star-studded premiere of Disney’s live-action adaptation of Snow White was held earlier today at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, with stars Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot in attendance.

What’s Happening:

Family and friends of the cast and crew attended the day-time screening and participated in fairytale fun and festivities, and included cast members Rachel Zegler, Gal Gadot, Martin Klebba, Jason Kravits, George Salazar, Andy Grotelueschen, Emilia Faucher, Lorena Andrea, Dujonna Gift, and Idris Kargbo, and director Marc Webb, screenwriter Erin Cressida Wilson, producers Marc Platt and Jared LeBoff, songwriters Justin Paul and Benj Pasek, composer Jeff Morrow, and cinematographer Mandy Walker.

Guests and their families, which included children from the San Fernando and Malibu chapters of the Boys & Girls Club who were affected by the recent fires in Los Angeles, were treated to a variety of activities, including a forest friends grove with rabbits, professional glamour shots, a fairytale glam station, and opportunities to create your own jeweled crown, pocket mirror, and candy salad.

Due to recent controversies surrounding the film, the premiere was a little different than most – forgoing usual media representation along the red carpet for a more subdued affair.
