Grandpa Nick Sings His New Theme to "Big City Greens" in Latest Theme Song Takeover" on Disney Channel

And it's just as shady as he is.

Perfect for the day since we are finally getting new Big City Greens episodes, a brand new Theme Song Takeover has also debuted on Disney Channel, featuring a…choice… of character to lead the new version of the theme.

What’s Happening:

  • Big City Greens has returned with a brand new episode today, and what better way to celebrate than with a brand new Theme Song Takeover on Disney Channel.
  • This time, Grandpa Nick takes over the classic song from the series, and gives it his very distinctly Grandpa Nick spin.
  • That means, it’s not even the right logo for Theme Song Takeover, but a bootleg one that, for some reason, is dripping oil and other fluids.
  • From there we launch into the full song that celebrates the character who has joined the cast in season four - something that we are reminded of throughout the song.
  • Similar to their actual relationship in the show, Gramma Alice is always there to keep him in place and shoot him down, as she is still protective of her family, and Nick (as Nancy’s dad) is someone she must grow to trust.
  • Check out the new Theme Song Takeover below.

  • Big City Greens just returned after a brief hiatus since Christmas, resuming the middle of their fourth season, with production underway on their fifth. A recent Halloween episode showed Cricket and the Greens try and defeat an escape room that was operated by the big bad of the series, Chip Whistler, who has returned to Big City after faking his death after he was banished from town in Season 2.
  • Grandpa Nick marks another character from the series who has taken over the theme song to the show, joining others like Andromeda, Bill, and even Vasquez.
  • The same humor of the main series is not only found in Theme Song Takeover, but also in two other short-form interstitial series, Broken Karaoke and Random Rings, each of which also feature Big City Greens characters.
  • You can catch up with all the past episodes and seasons of Big City Greens streaming now on Disney+.
