Photos: Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After's Marquee Mural Takes Shape at Disney's Hollywood Studios
The new show officially premieres this Tuesday, May 27th.
Last week we reported that the Sunset Showcase theater at Disney’s Hollywood Studios received a fresh coat of paint ahead of the premiere of Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After. Now, the painted marquee for the attraction is starting to come to life.
What’s Happening:
- We are less than a week away from the arrival of Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
- Taking over Sunset Showcase, formerly home to Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy, a new mural is starting to take shape on the side of the building.
- Earlier this month, the sign for the former Cars show was taken down.
- However, Disney is putting far more effort into this marquee, with the signage taking over an entire section of the tall building.
- While we were unable to get as close to Sunset Showcase, with Cast Member previews currently taking place, large stencils of the show's logo can be seen plastered against the wall.
- The pathway to the theater is blocked off by planters, with exit only signs.
- In Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After, the Magic Mirror will invite guests to hear out Disney’s most iconic villains. Telling their own stories, it will be up to the audience to decide whether or not these characters are evil or just misunderstood.
- The cutting edge show sees villains return to the venue, which, prior to Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy, hosted the special ticketed Club Villain.
- Earlier today, Disney shared a preview of the new show, which you can check out here.
