Disneyland Resort Celebrates Cast Member Milestones with Annual Service Celebration
Held at Disney California Adventure last Thursday, the event welcomed over 2,300 cast members celebrating milestone service anniversaries.
Last week, the Disneyland Resort held its annual Service Celebration, honoring cast members and Disney employees who are celebrating milestone service anniversaries of 10 years or more.
What’s Happening:
- This year’s Service Celebration was held after hours on March 13th for cast members at Disney California Adventure, where over 2,300 honorees were welcomed.
- While many celebrated their 10 year milestone, there was one cast member who celebrated 55 years of service!
- Honorees were welcomed to the event with cheers from the leaders and fellow cast members along Buena Vista Street, while both outgoing and incoming Disneyland Resort Presidents Ken Potrock and Thomas Mazloum gave congratulatory toasts.
- During the event, cast members could enjoy live musical performances, multiple DJs and a special performance of “Celebrate You! A Nighttime Spectacular."
- Character photo opportunities and the chance to sample selections from Food & Wine Festival Marketplaces were also included.
- Across both coasts, Disney is honoring nearly 9,000 cast members this year – that’s equal to more than 148,000 years of service at both Walt Disney World and the Disneyland Resort!
