Disney’s live-action adaptation of “Lilo & Stitch” is now playing in theaters everywhere.

Downtown Disney is celebrating the release of Lilo & Stitch in theaters with a small activation.

The live-action adaptation of Lilo & Stitch arrived in theaters over the weekend, and Downtown Disney at the Disneyland Resort is getting guests excited for the film with a chalk painting, located on the floor right in front of the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage.

Nearby, the animated versions of Stitch and Angel can be found inviting guests to “Celebrate Happy" as part of decorations for Disneyland’s 70th Celebration.

Elsewhere in Anaheim, Stitch also took over D23 Day at Angel Stadium over the weekend, greeting fans in his pink ride-on car, alongside a small exhibit showcasing props from the live-action film.

Lilo & Stitch, a live-action reimagining of Disney’s 2002 animated classic, is now playing in theaters everywhere. Find out how this new remake fares in Mike’s review.
