Videos: The Disneyland Band Performs at Magic Kingdom for the First Time Ever

The Disneyland Band was originally formed by Walt Disney for Disneyland's opening day.

Anticipation for Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary is picking up. Guests visiting Walt Disney World were treated to a Disneyland classic as an early gift for the milestone celebration.

What’s Happening:

  • The Disney Parks Instagram page shared that yesterday, March 11th, the Disneyland Band took a trip to Walt Disney World to perform at the Magic Kingdom for the first time ever.
  • The classic Disneyland offering has delighted guests at the Disneyland Resort for decades, bringing big band versions of Disney songs to life.
  • The special one-time appearance happened as an early kick off for the Disneyland 70th anniversary, inviting Walt Disney World guests to experience a bit of the magic from the original Disney Park.

  • During their performance, guests got to enjoy songs like Aladdin’s “Friend Like Me," Encanto’s “We Don’t Talk About Bruno," a The Lion King medley, a Tangled medley, and more.
  • Thanks to Mariah Clinkscales on TikTok, we have front and center video of the performance, which you can check out below:
