Hulu has shared the trailer for the second season of Gannibal, a Japanese folk horror drama.
What’s Happening:
- Gannibal is a Disney+ original drama produced in Japan, which streams on Hulu in the U.S.
- Set in a fictional Japanese village, the first season follows a relocated police officer, Daigo, as he arrives at his new job and home as a broken man.
- After leaving audiences on a bloodcurdling cliff hanger, Gannibal returns, plunging viewers back into the terrifying world of Kuge-Village. Will police officer Daigo be able to escape and stop the cannibals responsible?
- The first season of Gannibal became the streaming service’s most-watched locally produced original series ever in Japan.
- The two-episode season 2 premiere of Gannibal arrives Wednesday, March 19th on Hulu.
