Fans of the Alien franchise are already geared up for the new live-action TV series Alien: Earth created by Fargo and Legion showrunner Noah Hawley this summer, but an immersive experience called “The Wreckage" at SXSW 2025 is helping to drive the point home how this series is going to be a must-see.

What’s happening:

  • While covering SXSW 2025 in Austin, Texas this past weekend, Laughing Place reporter Alex Reif was able to record a video (viewable below) of the Alien: Earth “The Wreckage" immersive experience. • This experience is in promotion of the highly anticipated upcoming Alien: Earth live-action series set to debut this summer via FX On Hulu.
  • Alien: Earth is created by Noah Hawley (Fargo, Legion, Lucy In the Sky) and stars actors Sydney Chandler (Don’t Worry Darling), Alex Lawther (Star Wars: Andor), Timothy Olyphant (Justified), Essie Davis (The Babadook), and David Rysdahl (No Exit), among others.
