Following the official grand opening of Universal Epic Universe this week, Peacock has shared a first look at the new three-part docuseries chronicling the story of Universal theme parks, Epic Ride: The Story of Universal Theme Parks.

What’s Happening:

Set to premiere on Thursday, July 24th, Epic Ride: The Story of Universal Theme Parks showcases the beloved parks’ storied history and legacy.
The three-part docuseries will also give an in-depth look at Universal Orlando’s newest theme park, Epic Universe, which officially opens on May 22nd.
To explore Universal’s iconic history, the docuseries offers unprecedented access, rare archival, and intimate interviews with directors, producers, executives, and A-list celebrities.
A newly shared clip from Peacock gives us our first look at the docuseries, focusing on Universal Creative’s work designing Dark Universe. The challenges and risks associated with the land are mentioned alongside some testing footage of the impressive animatronics of Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment.
