Photos: Knott's Soak City Water Park Reopens for 2025 Summer Season Across from Knott's Berry Farm

Southern California water park fans can start enjoying a summer's worth of splishes and splashes.

This past weekend saw the reopening of Knott’s Soak City– the fun-filled water park just adjacent to Knott’s Berry Farm– and Laughing Place was invited down by Knott’s to enjoy the park and share our experience with our readers.

Yesterday was a little overcast throughout the morning and early afternoon, but as the weather improves into the beginning of the summer. Knott’s Soak City will be the perfect place in Southern California for families and thrill-seekers to hang out and cool off.

Upon entering the park, we enjoyed the scenery and the theming around the front area, then put our stuff in a locker and headed in to check out some of the attractions.

The 15 acres of Knott’s Soak City boasts 23 different water slides, the Tidal Wave Bay wave pool, the Sunset River lazy river, and two areas aimed at younger guests of a variety of ages (Beach House and Gremmie Lagoon).

Included in our media admission were some meal tickets, so we checked out Longboard’s Grill, which offers burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, and fries– classic American fare for a hot summer day.

I have to admit that we actually enjoyed ourselves a bit more because the less-than-ideal weather kept the lines down around the park throughout the morning, but by the time we left at 4:00 PM the crowd had started to get a little bigger thanks to the sun coming out. It was a little preview of what the rest of the season will be like at Knott’s Soak City– a summer filled with exciting water-soaked activities for guests of all ages.

Knott’s Soak City is open on select dates from now through early September in Buena Park, California. For additional information and to purchase advance tickets to the water park, be sure to visit Knott’s official website.
