Headlining This Weekend:
Jordin Sparks: (Saturday, March 15 at 7 pm)
- Jordin Sparks, a talented singer, songwriter, and actress, rose to international fame as the youngest winner of American Idol's sixth season.
- With over 10 million digital track sales and a Grammy nomination, she co-wrote Ariana Grande's hit "The Way."
- Sparks has performed with renowned artists, on Broadway, and has received multiple awards, including two B.E.T. Awards and an American Music Award.
- In 2023, she released new music and earned her second Grammy nomination for "Love Me Like I Am."
- Recently, she completed her No Restrictions Live & Intimate tour and is set to host ROLLER JAM on Magnolia/M.A.X. while voicing a character in The Chosen Adventures on the CW.
ZZ Top: (Sunday, March 16 at 7pm)
- ZZ Top, known as “That Little Ol’ Band From Texas," has been a prominent force in rock, blues, and boogie for over five decades, recognized for their distinctive sound and imagery featuring beards and hotrod cars.
- Formed in 1969, they rose to fame with the 1973 single "La Grange" and the 1983 Diamond-certified album Eliminator.
- Originally composed of Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill, and Frank Beard, the band boasts a rich touring history and was the subject of a Grammy-nominated documentary.
- Following Hill’s death, Elwood now plays bass as the band continues to tour. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and celebrated as Texas state heroes, ZZ Top's enduring success is anchored in their principles of "Tone, Taste, and Tenacity."
