Despite the heat and the crowds, construction continues at the Disneyland Resort. A highly visible project is the addition to the Mickey and Friends parking structure, now moving rapidly forward. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is ongoing, with very few opportunities for the public to see what is going on behind the berms. Over at Disney California Adventure work is still being done on Pixar Pier, despite the fact that it has officially opened. In addition to these, a few smaller projects are also in the mix. They include Big Thunder Railroad, the Tropical Hideaway in Adventureland, preparation for the Marvel themed area that will replace Flik’s Fun Fair, and changes to Downtown Disney.

Downtown Disney
Work in Downtown Disney is concentrated on Naples Ristorante, new food and drink venues coming to the north side, and a new color scheme for the entire area.
