Disney’s Josh D’Amaro and Alan Bergman to Discuss “The Future of World-Building at Disney” at SXSW

The two Disney executives are among the many keynote speakers during SXSW’s 39th annual conference.

South by Southwest (SXSW) Conference and Festivals have announced the third round of featured speakers for the 39th edition of its annual conference, and among the featured speakers are Disney’s Josh D’Amaro and Alan Bergman.

What’s Happening:

  • The 39th edition of SXSW’s annual conference, which celebrates the convergence of technology, film, television, and music, will feature two high ranking members of Disney’s leadership.
  • Chairman of Disney Experiences Josh D’Amaro and co-Chairman, Disney Entertainment Alan Bergman will discuss “The Future of World-Building at Disney."
  • In this presentation, Bergman, D’Amaro and special guests will showcase the convergence of imagination, innovation, and the future of experiential storytelling. Disney tells stories fans love, invites them into worlds they never dreamed possible, and then makes those places real.
  • Other Keynotes announced today include Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and Grammy Award-winning lead singer for Creedence Clearwater Revival John Fogerty and Bluesky CEO Jay Graber.
  • The Conference will also include Dr. Chelsea Clinton, Golden Globe Award-winning actor David Duchovny, podcast host Marc Maron, and more.
  • SXSW takes place March 7th-15th, 2025 in Austin, Texas.
