“Andor” Season 2 Special Look Video Reveals Tons of New Footage

A new poster has also been released for the second and final season.

With Andor Season 2 debuting next month, a new “Special Look" video has been released that includes a lot of new footage.

What’s Happening:

  • The Special Look video intermixes interviews with Andor creator Tony Gilroy and cast members Diego Luna, Genevieve O'Reilly and Adria Arjona with quite a bit of brand new footage of what’s to come beyond what was glimpsed in the trailer released last week.
  • There is also behind the scenes footage showing Luna on set next to Alan Tudyk in a mocap suit, with the latter actor – who was not in Season 1 – returning to reprise his role from Rogue One as K-2SO.
  • Says Gilroy, “Revolutionary movements are spontaneously happening across the galaxy. How those come together is the stuff of our story."

A new poster for Andor Season 2 has also been released, along with a new behind the scenes image of Luna on set.

  • Andor Season 2 stars Diego Luna, Stellan Skarsgård, Genevieve O’Reilly, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, Adria Arjona, Faye Marsay, Varada Sethu, Elizabeth Dulau, and Alan Tudyk, with Ben Mendelsohn and Forest Whitaker.

  • The series was created by Tony Gilroy, who wrote the first three episodes, with Beau Willimon writing episodes 4-6, Dan Gilroy penning episodes 7-9 and Tom Bissell putting pen to paper for episodes 10-12.
  • The directors for the series are Ariel Kleiman (Eps. 1-6), Janus Metz (Eps. 7-9) and Alonso Ruizpalacios (Eps. 10-12).
  • Now sporting the revamped full title Andor: A Star Wars Story, Season 2 premieres April 22nd on Disney+.
