Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery’s Streaming Bundle Shows Signs of Success
The streaming bundle has one of the highest retention rates in the industry.
Early stats are showing that the Disney+, Hulu, and Max bundle has shown incredible success for all three streamers.
What’s Happening:
- The Wall Street Journal has shared a look at the streaming bundle that launched last summer.
- For those users who signed up for the bundle back in July, 80% of them were still paying for the bundle three months later.
- In the simplest of terms: those who purchased the bundle are keeping the services more than Disney’s own bundles (i.e. Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ bundle) or each streamer individually.
- During July to September of 2024, the Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery pairing had greater retention rates than even Netflix, who held a 74%.
- Antenna, which complies this data, says that the bundle has 2.2 million paid subscriptions for either the with ads ($16.99 a month) or without ads ($29.99 a month) plans.
