Disney Channel Sets Off on New “Disney Roadtrip” Featuring Favorites from “Kiff”
From Table Town to Chairsburg
Disney Channel has launched our second adventure of the Disney Road Trip short-form interstitial series, this time taking us on a field trip with the cast of Kiff.
What’s Happening:
- Disney Channel has shared the first two installments of their latest edition of Disney Road Trip, this time following an adventure/field trip to historic Chairsburg, as led by Principal Secretary who is driving the school bus.
- Problem is, the students are looking for something more exciting with their field trip, maybe even a water park!
- Alas, the destination is set, and try as Principal Secretary might, there is no winning when convincing Kiff and crew.
- Take a look at the first entry below.
- In the second entry, we find Kiff and crew stuck going in circles as Principal Secretary tries to navigate a roundabout with the school bus.
- Apparently quite some time has passed as we see Barry getting visibly ill before Helen apparates and tells Principal Secretary that he needs to be aggressive and stand up for himself, easily navigating the traffic circle.
- Does he? No. In fact, it's only when Barry gets sick out of the window of the bus does the traffic inevitably move aside for the bus, though Principal Secretary has no real comprehension of why the traffic suddenly cleared for him. Onward to the next adventure.
- Disney Road Trip is a new short-form interstitial series that features one-minute shorts that are all designed to bring chaos and hilarity on their own, but are designed so that each installment can be stitched together later on to tell one full story.
- Previously, we’ve seen some of the favorites from the cancelled series, Hailey’s On It!, embark on their own adventure, and future editions are set to include the new series, Primos and StuGo, as well as other favorites like Hamster & Gretel, Phineas & Ferb, The Proud Family: Louder & Prouder, and Big City Greens.
- The full series of Kiff is about to launch its second season, debuting on the network next month on March 15th. The second season will stream on Disney+ in the Summer of 2025. Season One is currently available on the platform along with the two stand-alone specials “Kiff: The Haunting of Miss McGravy’s House" and “Kiff: Lore of the Ring Light."
- In the second season, Kiff and bunny bestie Barry embark on adventures that take them deeper into their ever-eccentric community of Table Town, where animals and magical oddballs navigate life, school, relationships and the quirks of their offbeat and loveable universe.
