Harrison Ford to Headline Spring 2025 Issue of “Disney twenty-three” Magazine

In celebration of Captain America: Brave New World, D23’s latest issue of Disney twenty-three magazine is featuring an exclusive cover story highlighting Harrison Ford.

What’s Happening:

D23, Disney’s official fan club, has unveiled that Disney Legend Harrison Ford will be featured on the cover of Disney twenty-three’s Spring 2025 digital magazine.
While Ford has starred in several blockbuster movie series like Star Wars and Indiana Jones, his role as President Thaddeus “Thunderbolt" Ross, AKA Red Hulk, marks his first entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Previewing the article, D23 divulged what fans can expect from the upcoming interview.
While his acting work has been a huge part of his career, the characters he plays all reflect the human experience. Ford shared “We’re all made from the same common clay. It’s moment in time. It’s opportunity—all of these inexplicable, unpredictable elements, plus our own drive and search for something useful to do in life," he explains. “All of it counts. Fantasy counts. Science counts. Reality counts. But being able to dream into and out of the world you’re living in? That’s important stuff."
He also spends a lot of time highlighting the incredible storytellers of the world, including George Lucas, Steven Spielber, and Kevin Feige. While actors tend to bear a lot of the praise from incredible films, Ford reminds readers that actors are simply part of a huge effort to bring these amazing worlds and characters to life.
He goes into specifics, crediting William Hurt, creator of Thunderbolt for Marvel. Emphasizing the importance of that source material, Ford stated “it gave me a wonderful place to start with the responsibilities that I have storytelling-wise in this in this Captain America movie."
He also gushed about co-star Anthony Mackie, describing him as “formidable." He continued praising Mackie’s emotional range and intelligence when it comes to playing a superhero.
