Luka Dončić’s Los Angeles Lakers Debut Postponed to Monday’s Jazz x Lakers Game, Streaming on Disney+
Following a minor injury, Dončić will now make his Lakers debut on Monday, February 10th.
ESPN has updated their schedule for the 2024-25 NBA regular-season schedule, with a game change happening on February 8th.
UPDATE – February 9th, 2025:
- Luka Dončić’s Los Angeles Lakers debut, which was originally scheduled to take place during Saturday’s Indiana Pacers x LA Lakers has been postponed due to a minor injury.
- Dončić’’s debut will now come during Monday’s Utah Jazz x LA Lakers game, taking place at 10:30 p.m. ET.
- NBA fans can enjoy the game on ESPN, ESPN+, Disney+ and the ESPN App.
Previously Reported – February 5th, 2025:
- ESPN has announced that their previously scheduled Utah Jazz vs. Phoenix Suns game on February 7th has been replaced.
- As a part of their 2024-25 NBA regular-season schedule, the Indiana Pacers will face off against the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto Arena.
- The game, which has been moved to 4PM ET on Saturday, February 8th, is expected to be Luka Dončić’s LA Lakers debut.
- In addition to airing on ESPN and streaming on the ESPN App, the game will also be showcasing live on Disney+.
- Luka began his NBA career when he was scouted by the Atlanta Hawks and then traded to the Dallas Mavericks.
- While with the team, Luka has earned several NBA awards, including 2019’s NBA Rookie of the Year.
- The point guard has also been selected 5 times for NBA All-Star games.
