Fox Sets Return Dates for “Family Guy,” “The Great North,” and “The Simpsons”
This winter, Fox's Animation Domination event will see new episodes of these adult animation hits.
Get ready for the return of several 20th Television Animation Studios programs, set to premiere this winter on Fox.
What’s Happening:
- According to Deadline, fans of The Simpsons, The Great North, and Family Guy have a lot to look forward to this winter.
- A part of Fox’s Sunday Night Animation Domination block, the adult animation series will be back with new episodes beginning this February.
- Starting off Family Guy and The Great North will begin their new seasons on February 16th.
- Family Guy, which will take the 8PM block, will kick off its 23rd season with a parody of Top Gun.
- The new episode will show Peter/Maverick and Lois/Charlie as they form a relationship after the death of Joe/Goose. Chris is set to play Rooster.
- Throughout the season, fans will also see Peter run into Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh at a brewery tour, Lois take up standup comedy, and Meg date a chicken she meets on a reality TV show.
- The series is created and executive produced by Seth MacFarlane.
- The Great North is headed into its 5th season on the network and will take the 9PM block. Kicking off the new season, Wolf will finally find himself on the local Alaskan survival show Dropped Off To Die. After an early elimination from the series, his shame leads him to hide at the Tobin property. Throughout the season, viewers will also watch as Ham gets a job performing at Yet-E-Cheddar’s and develops a relationship with an animatronic called Yeti Van Halen. His relationship with Crispin will be tested.
- On March 30th, the king of all adult animation, The Simpsons, returns after a three month hiatus. Currently in its monumental 36th season, the series will take the 8PM air spot from Family Guy, which will then air at 8:30PM.
- The return of the 36th season will see Bart attempt to become a celebrity DJ, all while Homer finally pushes Flanders to his breaking point.
- In addition to their return to Fox, viewers will find new episodes on Hulu the following day.
