Multiple Crew Members Laid Off from “The Bachelor” Universe as “The Bachelorette” Skips Summer 2025 Season
Fortunately, there’s a chance many can be rehired when production on various Bachelor universe shows picks up later this year.
Following the news that The Bachelorette would be taking this year off, a large number of crew members have been let go from the production crew.
What’s Happening:
- Earlier this month, it was revealed that The Bachelorette, which has seen its last three seasons airing in July, will not air this year.
- That news has sadly had an impact on many of the production crew’s jobs, as Deadline reports that a large group of crew members have been let go from the various shows in The Bachelor universe.
- The majority of the crew members were informed of the news last week, sending shockwaves across the hundreds of crew who work on the various shows.
- It’s currently not clear how many people were impacted.
- Staffers currently still working on The Bachelor, including on the specials that follow a season of the flagship show, will continue until their responsibilities end.
- The next series set to shoot is Bachelor in Paradise, which will shoot this summer in Mexico, with some overlap in crew members.
- Some crew might return to the franchise once it gets back up and running on the next season of The Bachelor, which likely would start production later this year, or on new seasons of The Golden Bachelor or The Golden Bachelorette.
- ABC is currently multiple weeks into the current season of The Bachelor, featuring 25 hopefuls vying for the love of Grant Ellis.
