Loki Premium Format Figure Revealed by Sideshow Collectibles, Depicts the God of Mischief Having Conquered Asgard

Burdened with glorious purpose, indeed.

Loki fans, it’s time to get out your wallets! Sideshow Collectibles has revealed a gorgeous new premium format figure depicting Marvel’s Asgardian God of Mischief perched on the throne previously occupied by his adoptive father Odin.

What’s happening:

  • Sideshow Collectibles has revealed its jaw-dropping new Loki premium format figure, which sells for $995 and is available for pre-order right now via the company’s official website.
  • The static figure is perched atop Asgard’s throne and measures over 23 inches tall, 15 inches wide, and nearly 16 inches deep. One of his feet rests on the broken helmet of his adoptive father Odin, while his hands grasp Odin’s spear Gungnir and the strap of Thor’s hammer Mjolnir (one must wonder how it got there since Loki clearly is not worthy of lifting the mythical weapon).
  • There’s also a Special Edition of the premium format figure available for $25 extra that includes a swap-out headsculpt of Loki’s more-modern smirking visage as he’s wearing a smaller crown.

What they're saying:

  • Sideshow Collectibles: “Presiding over his newly won kingdom, Loki wears a sleek green suit and brown boots, with sculpted fur trim around his shoulders and knees. The classic portrait showcases his maniacal smile and features a gold helmet with twisting horns. The Asgardian prince sits atop an intricately detailed throne complete with purple drapery, a woodgrain texture, and gold engravings — including a ram and snake which reference Thor and Loki’s mythological rivalry."

Sideshow’s Loki premium format figure is available for pre-order right now via the company’s official website.
