Photos/Videos: Anaheim Ducks Day Takes Over Disney California Adventure for an Epic Celebration
Check out the hockey-themed festivities at the Happiest Place on Earth.
The annual Anaheim Ducks Day is back at Disneyland Resort. Over at Disney California Adventure, fans of the NHL team were able to immerse themselves in a celebration of hockey with entertainment, photo ops, food offerings, and more.
Disneyland Hat Trick:
- Today, January 24th, Disneyland Resort hosted the 2025 Anaheim Ducks Day.
- The special event, which is included in admission of Disney California Adventure, invites hockey fans to join in on a celebration of the NHL hockey team.
- From 8AM to 6PM, the Hollywood Backlot was transformed into Fan Headquarters, where guests were able to test their hockey skills, take commemorative photos, dance to some music from the Anaheim Ducks DJ and more!
- Hockey themed activities could be found scattered throughout the Hollywood Backlot, including Anaheim Ducks-themed shuffleboard, a puck stack challenge, air hockey, and a hockey racing challenge.
- For ducklings, a hockey jersey coloring craft was available, allowing small kids to design their own Anaheim Ducks jerseys. Fans were encouraged to have them made prior to the Anaheim Ducks Cavalcade so they could wave their designs in celebration of the NHL team.
- Now a celebration of the Anaheim Ducks wouldn’t be complete without some actual players in attendance. Fans lined up at Disney California Adventure’s parade route were invited to enjoy a Ducks Day cavalcade featuring some of the NHL teams top players as well as the team’s cheerleading squad.
- Keep your eyes peeled as you might catch some Disney ducks who joined in on the celebration.
- Making their way towards the Hollywood Backlot festivities, fans got another opportunity to interact with some Anaheim Ducks. At the Meet the Ducks stage show, the cheerleaders performed again, and there was a brief Q & A with the team members.
- The over-the-top celebration had some incredible decorations and photo opportunities for Ducks fans, including a giant inflatable hockey player, a wall of jerseys, a goalie photo opportunity, and a Wild Wing mascot meet and greet.
- Make sure you set some time aside to dance to the tunes of the Anaheim Ducks DJ.
- Of course, there was an incredibly festive selection of merchandise available at the event. Quantities were limited and items quickly began selling out.
- Magic Key holders were able to pick up an exclusive and complementary commemorative souvenir at the event. The reusable cup features the Anaheim Ducks Day 2025 logo as well as the Magic Key logo.
- After all the excitement of the party, fans were invited to indulge in some festive food offerings,including Orange-Vanilla Cotton Candy, Brewery X’s Duck Beer Blonde Ale, a Quacktail Cooler cocktail, and a Chicken-Fried Steak Burrito.
- Those visiting the event were also able to sign up for ticket packages for Anaheim Ducks games at the Honda Center.
- Anaheim Ducks Day 2025 was a blast, especially with the team coming off a big win against the Pittsburgh Penguins last night. While the party is only for today, there’s scheduled Anaheim Ducks games through April and the Honda Center is only a short drive away from the resort.
