New Popcorn Bucket Celebrates All Things DCA, Features Sam Wilson as Captain America
Today, February 8th, 2025 marks 24 years of Disney (or Disney’s, if you’re a purist) California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort, and we spotted a coveted, new popcorn bucket that ALSO celebrates all things Disney California Adventure. Note, this is a standard souvenir bucket, not a dimensionally-shaped premium style bucket (though, we’d like a Grizzly Peak one now that we think about it).
While at the park celebrating the 24th anniversary of Disney California Adventure, we spotted a new popcorn bucket that also celebrates the current state of the park and all the attractions and themed lands within.
Notably, the bucket also features Sam Wilson’s Captain America (along with Groot) representing Avengers Campus at the park.
Other iconography features Goofy river rafting (a la Grizzly River Run), Ariel for Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, Baymax and San Fransokyo Square, Mickey Mouse and the Carthay Circle Theater on Buena Vista Street, Mike Wasowski of Pixar’s Monsters, Inc. for Monsters, Inc: Mike & Sulley to the Rescue, Lightning McQueen for Cars Land and a number of others.
It should also be noted that the bucket features the current Disney California Adventure logo, not one for the Disneyland Resort or Disneyland Park. As such, it is likely that another bucket will arrive featuring all things Disneyland Park, giving guests a chance to choose (or get both!) and pick a favorite bucket.
Guests visiting can pick up the bucket at locations throughout the park, and we found this particular one at the cart on Buena Vista Street going into HollywoodLand. As of press time, guests can pick it up for $14.25+tax.
