Photos: Disney Springs Starbucks Location Closes for Refurbishment at Walt Disney World

Fortunately, you can still get your daily beverage at the Marketplace location.

Guests visiting Disney Springs at Walt Disney World might notice one of their favorite caffeination stops is currently behind walls as part of a routine refurbishment.

The Starbucks location in the West Side district of Disney Springs is currently closed as of March 3rd, allowing the refurbishment takes place. It is expected to last through the spring, with the location expected to reopen in Mid-Summer, though no specific date has been provided at this time.

In the meantime, this doesn’t mean that those visiting Disney Springs must go without. The location in the Marketplace district of Disney Springs, located near World of Disney, remains open and operational at this time. It should be noted though, that unlike the West Side location (currently closed) the Marketplace location does not offer a seating area or tables and chairs. Those wishing to pause a moment will have to walk across the promenade to the seating for the nearby Marketplace Snacks and Margarita bar for tables and chairs.

It is unclear at this time if there will be any drastic changes to the West Side location when it reopens in Mid-Summer. Before it closed, the location featured sustainable architecture, ample seating and a shaded patio facing the Aérophile balloon liftoff dock, along with a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows, a glass-rock fireplace beneath a dramatic moss mural, and a rooftop that is also a lemongrass nursery—nourished fed by composted coffee grounds.
