Disneyland Resort Extending Lightning Lane Premier Pass Purchase Window Beginning Tomorrow
Currently, the premium skip-the-line pass can be purchased up to two days in advance.
Disneyland Resort has announced that they are altering their policy for Lightning Lane Premier Pass purchases, allowing guests to pre purchase their highest level skip-the-line passes up to a week prior to their visit.
What’s Happening:
- Starting tomorrow, February 25th, guests visiting the Disneyland Resort can purchase Lightning Lane Premier Passes up to 7 days in advance of their visit.
- Currently, the window to purchase the premium skip the line service is 2 days prior to a visit.
- Each “day" starts at 7AM PT, so exactly 7 days out from your park reservation, ticketed guests, whether staying at a resort or not, will be able to purchase the upgrade.
- For those visiting with a Walt Disney Travel Company package, when your tickets arrive three days in advance of your arrival, you’ll be able to link them to your Disney account and purchase Lightning Lane Premier Passes.
- This 3-day purchase window for Walt Disney Travel Company packages includes the date of arrival. Guests traveling on a Walt Disney Travel Company package may purchase Lightning Lane Premier Pass up to 2 days prior to arrival at the Disneyland Resort.
- Premier Pass was introduced last October, which allows guests to skip the line at all Lightning Lane Single and Multi-Pass eligible attractions without booking an arrival window. Simply walk up to the attraction’s Lightning Lane queue and scan your ticket. Each attraction can be experienced once with the benefit.
- Lightning Lane Premier Pass’ price ranges based on date, fluctuating between $300 and $400 dollars per person per day. They are valid at both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure on the valid date.
- Lightning Lane Premier Pass also includes Disney’s PhotoPass service, which allows guests to download digital copies of all linked on-ride and Disney PhotoPass photographer photos.
