Disneyland Introducing New Tapestry of Happiness Nighttime Projection Show at “it’s a small world” Facade

The new nighttime entertainment is inspired by the work of Mary Blair.

As part of Disneyland’s 70th anniversary celebration, a new nighttime entertainment presentation, Tapestry of Happiness, will be introduced.

What’s Happening:

  • Tapestry of Happiness will be presented upon the facade of “it’s a small world" at night, using light, music and projection effects.
  • The show is described as creating an animated mosaic of Disneyland attractions, moments and memories brought to life in a unique style inspired by the work of legendary Disney artist Mary Blair. It will feature the original 70th celebration theme song “Celebrate Happy," along with nods to recognizable Disneyland tunes from across the decades.
  • Though her contributions to Disney go far beyond the attraction, famed artist Mary Blair is very tied to “it’s a small world," having done the character designs for the attraction, making the placement of Tapestry of Happiness a fitting one.
  • Tapestry of Happiness is expected to debut at Disneyland on May 16, 2025, along with the brunt of the new 70th anniversary celebration elements at Disneyland Resort.
