Josh Gad Improvises His Way Through Being a Kilimanjaro Safaris Guide at Animal Kingdom

It’s the “Frozen” star’s latest adventure through a Disney Parks attraction.

In a new video posted by Disney Parks, Olaf himself, Frozen’s Josh Gad gets to find out what it’s like to be a Kilimanjaro Safaris Guide at Animal Kingdom - albeit one without any training.

As Gad references at the top of the video, this is the latest incarnation of what’s become a recurring bit, beginning in 2023 when Gad was a substitute Jungle Cruise skipper at Disneyland and then continuing in 2024 when he was a conductor on the Disneyland Railroad - though this marks the first time that Disney Parks is having him take over an attraction at Walt Disney World.

In the video, Gad attempts to be the Safaris Guide for a group of guests, despite not knowing almost any actual information about the animals they are seeing, as he makes up facts much to the chagrin of the actual Animal Kingdom cast member driving them.

The description for the video asks “What role would you like to see Josh Gad take on next?" which certainly seems to indicate Gad’s improvised Disney Parks roles probably aren’t over yet.
