You can get a glimpse for yourself at Maharajah Jungle Trek.

Walt Disney World guests now have the chance to see new Malayan great argus pheasant chicks at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

What’s Happening:

  • Dr. Mark Penning, who serves as Vice President for Disney’s Animals, Science & Environment division posted the news and accompanying photos on Instagram.
  • While announcing the arrival of the Malayan great argus pheasant chicks, Dr. Mark noted, “Guests can catch a glimpse of them as they grow and follow their mother in the aviary on Maharajah Jungle Trek."

  • Dr. Mark added, “A fascinating detail: the female pheasants are responsible for raising the young, and the chicks become independent quickly. Be sure to look for them during your next visit!"
