Photos: Closed Section of Magic Kingdom’s Emporium Reopens with Removed Wall and New Flooring as Another Section Walled Off

Located on Main Street, USA, The Emporium hosts a wide array of Walt Disney World merchandise.

Construction continues at Magic Kingdom’s Emporium, as new walls go up after a previously closed section reopens with new flooring and a removed wall.

What’s Happening:

  • The Emporium gift shop at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom has revealed a freshly remodeled section of the store.
  • The area, which was previously separated by a large wall, was opened up to increase the guest flow, with cream colored tiles being added throughout.

  • The regularly unavailable cash register area closest to Casey’s Corner was also removed.

  • As the construction fences come down, the refurbishment continues just next to the freshly removed wall, blocking off another large section of the popular retail location.

  • Hopefully, Disney is able to get the retail location up and at full capacity soon.
