Photos: TriceraTop Spin Now Completely Removed from Disney’s Animal Kingdom

The former Chester & Hester's attraction is officially extinct.

The deconstruction of Chester & Hester’s Dino-Rama in DinoLand USA has reached a new construction milestone, with the complete removal of one of the area's main attractions.

What’s Happening:

  • Just a day after our last update, TriceraTop Spin has now been completely removed from Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
  • Yesterday, the queue area for the attraction had been completely removed, but with quick work kicking off on the new Tropical Americas area of the Walt Disney World theme park, the entire flat ride is officially extinct.
  • An excavator can be seen behind the fence as the area is leveled for the upcoming area.

  • From what we can see behind the construction walls, it appears the only things left standing from Chester & Hesters are the gift shop, bathrooms, and billboard sign near DINOSAUR and the giant “Cementasaurus."

  • Work has been kicking up quickly at the construction sight, with the Dino-Rama sign being removed last week.
  • The area is set to become Pueblo Esperanza, a south and central American-themed area set to feature a brand-new Encanto attraction.
  • DINOSAUR, while currently open, will also be transformed into an Indiana Jones themed attraction.
  • DinoLand USA is not long for this world, but there is still time to enjoy the remaining elements of the paleontology themed area.
  • If you are looking to head out to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Laughing Place recommends Mouse Fan Travel for all your Walt Disney World vacation needs.
