Photos: Raglan Road Construction Detours Disney Springs Guests
Those visiting Disney Springs will experience a bit of a hiccup in their normal traffic flow near Raglan Road as construction continues nearby. Guests visiting the Walt Disney World destination will find the work taking place near the popular eatery at The Landing (formerly Pleasure Island) on the backside of the restaurant when they are approaching the area from Town Centre.
A series of temporary planters blocks the area while the work is being done, so guests who are used to walking through this area will now have to head towards The Boathouse and head through the main thoroughfare of The Landing to get through this portion of Disney Springs.
While work is being done, Raglan Road proper is still open and accessible, though the outdoor bar and exterior quick service locations appear to be closed at this time. Inside the main restaurant, guests can still satisfy their appetite with traditional and contemporary Irish dishes made with the finest local ingredients and feast on hearty favorites like bangers & mash, fish & chips, shepherd’s pie, boxty potato pancakes and braised beef short ribs. Or savor lighter fare, like the salmon salad.
Guests ages 21 and older can toast the occasion with refreshing libations. Choose from an enticing array of beverages, including Irish beers, American beers, wine, cocktails, Irish whiskey and more. Beer flights and whiskey flights are also available—to help you discover that perfect sip.
