Super Bowl LIX Champions to Head to Walt Disney World After Big Game

And no, we don't know where Taylor will be.

Well ahead of the big game we know who won! Won the battle of which Disney destination the champions of Super Bowl LIX will be headed to that is, and this year it’s Walt Disney World!

What’s Happening:

  • Walt Disney World has taken to social media to announce that they will be celebrating the winner of this weekend’s Super Bowl at their resort.
  • Traditionally speaking, the MVP from the winning team will appear at either Disneyland or Walt Disney World in a celebratory parade. This year, that special celebratory parade will take place on Monday, February 10th.
  • As the game hasn’t taken place just yet, we don’t know who from what team will be appearing as part of the championship celebration and cavalcade, but we do know they will be from either the Kansas City Chiefs or the Philadelphia Eagles - the two teams playing this year.

  • It’s a special moment that was born back in 1987, when Phil Simms was asked after winning - “You just won the Super Bowl, What are you doing next?" and he replied “I’m gonna go to Disney World!"

  • This marks the first time in three years that the special celebration is being held at the Walt Disney World Resort, with the last few Super Bowls taking place at stadiums where Disneyland, frankly, was a more convenient destination for the winners to visit the next morning.
