Tokyo Disney Resort to Launch Special Celebration Marking 20th Anniversary of Duffy and Friends
The festivities are set to launch in April.
Tokyo Disney Resort is ready to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Duffy’s debut, along with all his friends, in a special celebration featuring festive decorations, dining, entertainment, and more.
What’s Happening:
- Starting on April 8th, 2025, and through March 19th, 2026, Tokyo Disney Resort guests will be able to find themed merchandise, special dining menus, festive decor, entertainment and more.
- The special celebration is in honor of the 20th anniversary of Duffy’s debut at Tokyo Disney Resort, as well as the subsequent arrival of all his friends, including ShellieMay, Gelatoni, StellaLou, CookieAnn, ‘Olu Mel, and LinaBell.
- The anniversary theme will be represented throughout the resort in the same way that Duffy and friends celebrate - finding joy in all the small things.
- Starting at the park entrance, banners featuring all seven members of Duffy and Friends and depicting the number “20 will be spotted. For those wanting picture perfect moments, there will be colorful art displayed on the walls around Via Paperino over the Mediterranean Harbor of Tokyo DisneySea. The buildings found in Cape Cod will also be decked out with decorations themed to rainbows and bubbles.
- All-New merchandise items will also debut, one of which are plush charms of the characters holding a special case that holds one of 20 special patches that have been designed just for the anniversary. More of the merchandise (a lot of which is plush in nature) can be seen below.
- A new flavor is also being added to the fan-favorite, crème brûlée churro lineup. Over at Tropic Al’s in Lost River Delta, you’ll find the all-new milk tea-flavored crème brûlée churro. And that’s not all, each churro will come in a package adorned with one of seven unique designs featuring a member of Duffy and Friends. A new popcorn bucket will also arrive just in time for the 20th anniversary.
- Miguel’s El Dorado Cantina located in Lost River Delta will be home to a 20th anniversary dining experience celebrating the world of Duffy. Here you can try a special Duffy set served with seasonal soups.
- Duffy and Friends will also embark on a journey along the waterways of Tokyo DisneySea., with all seven friends in their all-new 20th anniversary outfits during “Duffy and Friends’ Colorful Happiness Journey," which you can see pictured at the top of the page.
