“It’s Tough to be A Bug!” Announces Closing Date at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
The attraction's closure will make way for the new "Zootopia" film to take its place.
One of Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s opening day attractions has announced its closing day.
What’s Happening:
- It’s Tough to be A Bug! has announced its closing date at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
- The 4D film located inside the Tree of Life Repertory Theater will be closing in March to make way for Zootopia: Better Zoogether! in winter of 2025.
- Bug has been a staple of the park since 1998, allowing guests to become honorary bugs while entering the park’s icon, the Tree of Life.
- Often discussed as a “nightmare", the attraction is known for its scary elements, including giant spiders, hornet stings, and “bugs on the butt".
- It’s Tough to be A Bug! was also located at Disney California Adventure, but closed to be replaced with Avengers Campus.
- It’s Tough to be A Bug! will permanently close on March 17th, 2025.
