ABC Primetime Special to Document Michael Strahan’s Daughter Isabella’s Fight Against Cancer
“Life Interrupted: Isabella Strahan’s Fight Against Cancer” airs February 5th on ABC.
ABC will air a primetime special following the cancer battle of Michael Stahan’s daughter, Isabella Strahan.
What’s Happening:
- In October 2023, Isabella Strahan was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a common fast-growing malignant brain tumor – a story which she shared on Good Morning America. Following her diagnosis, she underwent surgery to remove the mass, followed by chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
- A one-hour primetime special will provide an emotional and intimate look at her diagnosis, treatment, recovery and recent return to college cancer-free.
- Isabella reflects on her fight and setbacks along the way, and she also discusses her decision to go public with her story by starting a YouTube series, benefiting The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke and documenting her battle.
- The special will also include other cancer patients inspired by Isabella’s message.
- Isabella’s family, including dad Strahan, mom Jean Muggli and twin sister Sophia, discuss the emotional toll of supporting a loved one battling cancer, and her doctors discuss Isabella’s treatment, fight, and prognosis.
- Life Interrupted: Isabella Strahan’s Fight Against Cancer airs on ABC at 10:02 p.m. EST on Wednesday, February 5th, and streams the next day on Disney+ and Hulu.
