Ahead of the film’s official opening later this week, Marvel fans can now listen to the soundtrack of the new Captain America: Brave New World on most major digital music platforms.

What’s Happening:

  • Hollywood Records has announced the release of Marvel Studios’ Captain America: Brave New World Original Motion Picture Soundtrack with music by Oscar and GRAMMY nominated, five-time Emmy award-winning composer Laura Karpman. The soundtrack is now available on Apple Music, Amazon Music, and other digital platforms.

  • According to Karpman, the music mirrors every emotion that is a part of the film: heroic, thrilling, suspenseful. In Captain America: Brave New World percussion drives the score, as well as large orchestra and synth programming that closely weaves together the sound of the orchestra and synthesized element.
  • In the film, after meeting with the newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, Sam Wilson finds himself in the middle of an international incident. He must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.
  • Marvel Studios’ Captain America: Brave New World stars Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, Carl Lumbly, with Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, Tim Blake Nelson, and Harrison Ford.
  • The film is directed by Julius Onah and produced by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore. Louis D’Esposito and Charles Newirth serve as executive producers. The screenplay is by Rob Edwards and Malcolm Spellman & Dalan Musson and Julius Onah & Peter Glanz with story by Rob Edwards and Malcolm Spellman & Dalan Musson.

What They’re Saying:

  • Laura Karpman: “The orchestra and the synthesization are inextricably bound, so they feel completely like a new sound, sometimes, the orchestra is processed to make it more electronic sounding."
