Dennis Haysbert Joins the Cast of Sam Raimi’s “Send Help”
The 20th Century Studios picture will be a horror thriller, directed by “Evil Dead” creator Sam Raimi.
Golden Globe nominee Dennis Haysbert has joined the cast of Sam Raimi’s new horror film for 20th Century Studios, Send Help.
What’s Happening:
- Deadline reports that Haysbert will be appearing in Raimi’s Send Help in a supporting role.
- At this time, no details regarding Haysbert’s role have been revealed.
- Best known for his roles in 24 and The Unit, Haysbert recently appeared in Searchlight Pictures’ Flamin’ Hot.
- Send Help is a survival horror thriller about two colleagues who become stranded on a deserted island, the only survivors of a plane crash. On the island, they must overcome past grievances and work together to survive, but ultimately, it’s a battle of wills and wits to make it out alive.
- The film is based on an original script by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift (Baywatch).
- Haysbert joins an ensemble also including the previously announced Rachel McAdams, Dylan O’Brien and Chris Pang.
- Produced by Raimi Productions, Send Help hits theaters on January 30th, 2026.
