Jay Leno Set for Cameo Appearance in Upcoming Episode of ABC’s “Shifting Gears”

As a famous lover of cars, Leno makes a sublime casting get for Tim Allen’s new sitcom.

Former late night host and car aficionado Jay Leno will be making a cameo appearance alongside Tim Allen in an upcoming episode of ABC’s Shifting Gears.

What’s Happening:

Deadline reports that Leno will be making a cameo appearance as himself in the 9th episode of ABC’s new comedy series, Shifting Gears.
Allen stars in the series as Matt, a stubborn, widowed owner of a classic car restoration shop, Parker Customs.
Leno will be shown bringing his car into Allen’s shop for repair in the episode, which airs on March 12th.
In addition to Allen and Kat Dennings as his daughter, the series also stars:
- Seann William Scott as Gabriel
- Daryl “Chill" Mitchell as Stitch
- Maxwell Simkins as Carter
- Barrett Margolis as Georgia
Jenna Elfman and Brenda Song are also set for recurring roles in the series, as Eve and Caitlyn, respectively.
Shifting Gears is now streaming on ABC and Hulu.
