Hulu Sets Release Date for May’s Hularious Special from Matteo Lane

“Matteo Lane: The Al Dente Special” premieres Friday, May 16th.

The Hularious hilarity continues in May with the date announcement for the first stand-up special from comedian Matteo Lane.

What’s Happening:

Deadline has revealed that Matteo Lane: The Al Dente Special, the comedian’s first stand-up special, will premiere Friday, May 16th on Hulu.
Taped last fall at Eli and Edythe Broad Stage in Santa Monica, the new special offers a glimpse into his travels, friendships and unique family background.
Matteo Lane: The Al Dente Special is written, performed and executive produced by Lane. Additional executive producers include Ally Engelberg, Tiffany Schloesser, and Jared Lapidus, who also directed the special.
Lane had previously self-released two specials in multiple installments – Hair Plugs & Heartache and The Advice Special.
The comedian has an impressive social media following, and has made appearances on a number of shows, such as The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and HBO’s Crashing.
He’s currently touring nationwide on his Can’t Stop Talking Tour and is set to release a cookbook, Your Pasta Sucks, in April.
This is the latest of Hulu’s new Hularious brand of stand-up specials. Other upcoming specials include:
