LATimesBlog: Lasseter Says No Paul Newman or Doc Hudson in 'Cars 2' — but watch for tribute

John Lasseter, the Pixar chief creative officer and Cars 2 director says that upcoming film will not feature the Doc Hudson character but that they are including a special tribute to Paul Newman who voiced the Hudson Hornet.
