Billy Crystal to Host the 2012 Oscars Show

The Los Angeles Times reports that in the wake of the Oscar broadcast turmoil over the past week that ended with Eddie Murphy bowing out of hosting duties, Billy Crystal has stepped in to host the telecast for the first time since 2004.
