Disney Shares Star Wars Land Construction Update Featuring AT-ATs in Progress

Earlier this week, keen-eyed Disneyland guests spotted two figures in the Star Wars Land construction site that looked an awful lot like the famed AT-ATs from the saga. Today, the Disney Parks Blog confirmed that those are indeed what are being constructed, even sharing this short clip:

As Bob Iger announced during a recent earnings call, Star Wars-themed lands in Disneyland and Disney's Hollywood Studios are slated to open in 2019 with two attractions: one that lets guests take the controls of Millennium Falcon on a customized secret mission, and an epic Star Wars adventure that puts guests in the middle of a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance.
