Disney+ Shares New Montage, “Clock,” In Advance of Debut of “Loki” On June 9th
As we get closer to the premiere on June 9th, we’re getting more clips and promos to build anticipation for the Disney+ Original Series from Marvel Studios, Loki, with their latest debuting today that reminds us that a clock is always ticking.
What’s Happening:
- The latest video promo has dropped for the Disney+ Marvel Original Series, Loki, and in it we see a ticking clock and Agent Mobius (Owen Wilson) reminding us that time is always ticking before seeing a montage of clips from the upcoming new series.
- The concept of time will be a resonating point with the new series. Recently, we were introduced to Miss Minutes in a new clip where we hear Mobius explaining to Loki that he messed up their timeline and they have to try and fix it.
- In Marvel Studios’ Loki, Tom Hiddleston returns to reprise his role as the title character, the mercurial villain and God of Mischief in a new series that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame.
- Kate Herron will be directing the series and Michael Waldron is the head writer.
- Recently, it was announced that the series would be moving from a premiere on Friday, June 11 to Wednesday, June 9, with new episodes debuting on Wednesdays moving forward.
- It’s unclear at this time if this move will impact the release schedules of any other Disney+ projects, though it’s possible the move was made to keep the new Marvel series separate from the recently debuted Star Wars series Star Wars: The Bad Batch as well as the upcoming Marvel film Black Widow, which will debut both in theaters and on Disney+ with Premier Access on Friday, July 9.
- You can catch Loki when it premieres on Disney+ on Wednesday, June 9.
