11 “Alien: Earth” Cast Additions Include “Game of Thrones,” “Fargo” and “Severance” Alums
A large new crop of actors are revealed for Noah Hawley’s upcoming serie
The cast of the upcoming Hulu series Alien: Earth has expanded, with 11 additions announced to the large ensemble.

- Karen Aldridge
- Enzo Cilenti
- Max Rinehart
- Amir Boutrous
- Victoria Masoma
- Tom Moya
- Andy Yu
- Michael Smiley
- Jamie Bisping
- Tanapol Chuksrida
- This group of newly revealed cast members for the series continues on the same approach we’ve seen so far for series creator Noah Hawley (Legion, Fargo), who has notably avoided putting big name actors in the show, with the exception of Timothy Olyphant. Alien: Earth’s lead, Sydney Chandler, is joined by Olyphant and the previously announced Alex Lawther, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, David Rysdahl, Adrian Edmondson, Adarsh Gourav, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Diem Camille and Moe Bar-El.
- Filming on Alien: Earth wrapped in 2024, so all these actors have already filmed their material, even though they are only now being revealed as part of the series.
- Among the new group, Enzo Cilenti appeared in a few episodes of Game of Thrones and Aldridge has a recurring role on Apple’s Severance, while Amir Boutrous was in Disney’s 2019 live-action version of Aladdin. Michael Smiley played Doctor Evazan, a returning character from the original Star Wars: Episode IV, in a cameo in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
- A couple of the cast additions have worked previously with Hawley. Besides being a series regular on Netflix’s Never Have I Ever, Richa Moorjani was one of the main cast in Season 5 of Hawley’s FX anthology series, Fargo, while Andy Yu played a recurring role in Fargo Season 3. In the Disney realm, Yu also served as a cultural consultant on Pixar’s Turning Red.
- The first TV expansion of the science fiction franchise that kicked off in 1979, Alien: Earth involves a mysterious space vessel crash-landing on Earth and a young woman and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers making a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat.
- Alien: Earth will arrive on Hulu this summer, though the exact date has yet to be revealed.
