AREA15 Announces New 20-Acre Expansion is 60% Pre-Leased and Previews Upcoming Additions
AREA15, an immersive entertainment center in the heart of Las Vegas, has announced that their under-construction 20-acre expansion has been 60% pre-leased, including the new Universal Horror Unleashed.

- AREA15, Las Vegas’ premiere entertainment district, is getting ready to invite guests into even more unforgettable experiences with their new 20-acre expansion.
- In an announcement made today, the world’s first purpose-built experimental entertainment destination shared that 60% of the new expansion has been pre-leased prior to project completion.
- In a mix of art exhibits, dining, retail concepts, and entertainment, AREA15 has shared some of the incredible additions coming to the complex.
Burning Man’s Boeing 747
Created as an immersive party venue for 2017’s Burning Man festival, the reconfigured airplane fuselage will find its way into AREA15 as a new nightlife and event venue. It joins the destination's large collection of large-scale, open-air art exhibits.
Dolls Kill
Celebrating fashion with an edge, Dolls Kill will bring a new flagship store to the entertainment venue. Guests will be able to buy exclusive Las Vegas collections, limited-edition items, fashion experiences, and pop-ups.
The Escape Game
The leading escape room creator in the US will bring their immersive 60-minute experiences to AREA15.
Felix & Paul Studios’ Interstellar Arc
From the Emmy Award winning creators of Space Explorers, Interstellar Arc will invite guests into the 26th century for a futuristic and immersive storytelling adventure. Embark on an amazing deep-space mission as you experience this technologically innovative experience.
iFLY Indoor Skydiving
The popular indoor skydiving company will bring their vertical wind-tunnel technology to AREA15. Created to appeal to first-timers and professional flyers, iFLY will bring progression programs, STEM education events, and event spaces.
Museum of Ice Cream
The popular experience celebrating the world’s best dessert arrives at AREA15 in a nearly 30,000 square foot location. Becoming the largest flagship Museum of Ice Cream, the new area will have the world’s first ice cream buffet, themed hotel suites, a dessert themed playspace, a spring pool, a pink party bus, and more.
Universal Horror Unleashed
For the first time, Universal Destinations & Experiences is bringing their award-winning haunt experiences to life year round at AREA15. The horrifying new addition to Las Vegas’ wide array of entertainment will offer thrills and chills in four haunted houses, four terrifying themed areas, live entertainment, cocktails, and food offerings.
Chilango’s Tacos
Expanding their food offerings, AREA15 will host the popular restaurant’s al pastor and birria tacos and carne asada quesadillas.
Saint Honoré Doughnuts & Beignets
The bakery, which has gone viral on social media, will serve their hand-decorated doughnuts, flavorful coffees, and authentic French Quarter-style beignets.
- The new $161 million expansion will continue to make AREA15 a must visit attraction for Las Vegas visitors and locals alike.
