Step Into the Portals of Universal Epic Universe with Four Epic New Teasers

Step into the realms of Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, Dark Universe and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic.

After sharing an epic new Super Bowl ad, Universal Orlando has released four individual videos introducing guests to the four portals of their newest theme park, Epic Universe.

What’s Happening:

  • The new Epic Universe Super Bowl ad, which emerged upon Super Bowl LIX viewers screens last night, takes you into a virtual recreation of the park’s five immersive themed worlds.
  • Universal Orlando is expanding upon the excitement by releasing four additional videos, taking an expanded look at Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, Dark Universe and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic.
  • Four kids riding their bikes through a forested area come across a magical portal into Super Nintendo World, where the one kid brave enough to enter is seen taking part in a Mario Kart race and aboard a mine cart with Donkey Kong.

  • Two siblings are playing basketball outside their house when a portal into How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk magically appears. The youngest member of the family runs through the portal and into the Isle of Berk, where she’s immediately greeted by dragons flying all over, before taking a ride on Hiccup’s Wing Gliders and returning home dressed as a Viking.

  • A couple are leaving a coffee shop when the portal into the creepy world of Dark Universe appears. The man is mesmerized by the portal, and walks through into the village of Darkmoor, where he’s greeted by Frankestein’s monster and terrified by even more monsters aboard Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment.

  • The last video takes us once again to a family home setting, where this time, father and son are playing baseball. A niffler comes through the magically appearing portal, guiding the mother to the streets of Paris, where she becomes a Hogwarts student and explores The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic.

  • Epic Universe officially opens May 22nd, 2025 at Universal Orlando Resort.
