Photos: First Look at Universal Fan Fest Nights Merchandise
With tickets now on sale for Universal Fan Fest Nights, we’ve got a preview of the merch coming to the new Universal Studios Hollywood event, tied to franchises like Harry Potter, Back to the Future, D&D, Star Trek and more.
Laughing Place attended a media sneak peek for Universal Hollywood’s new after-hours, separately ticketed event, where we got a chance to see what will be available tied to the seven different properties that are a part of the event.
2025 marks the 40th anniversary of Back to the Future, so a couple of the pieces released alongside Back to the Future: Destination Hill Valley are 40th-anniversary specific, including a folder and license plate. You’ll also find an Outatime t-shirt, Flux Capacitor pillow, and Hoverboard-themed mini-bag.
Dungeons & Dragons: Secrets of Waterdeep has a couple of different bag options, including one that contains a map of Waterdeep itself.
With the Super Nintendo World part of Universal Fan Fest Nights subtitled Let’s Go, Yoshi, it’s no surprise that Mario’s favorite dino buddy is the focus of the merch, including a track jacket likely to be a popular item.
Star Trek: Red Alert is represented by a hooded jacket, a Tribble bag (hopefully not made from real Tribble!) and a Quark’s Bar and Restaurant glass.
The two anime properties at Fan Fest, Jujutsu Kaisen: Hunger of the Cursed and One Piece: Grand Pirate Gathering, appropriately include the kind of big plush hats found at Japanese theme parks, plus others items like a One Piece Luffy wanted poster bag and a Jujutsu Kaisen keychain.
Those aforementioned large hats are also represented with new merch for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which is introducing new magical creatures at the event. Occamy and Niffler plushies are joined by a Pygmy Puff mug, bag, and, yep, a big fluffy plush hat - which sports a bright pink color that promises you will definitely be getting noticed in a crowd wearing it.
And lastly, there is a hat and a keychain available for the event itself, sporting the Universal Fan Fest Nights logo.
Tickets for Universal Fan Fest Nights are available to purchase now. The event begins Friday, April 25 and continues select nights through Sunday, May 18, 2025.
